Expert Review
The role of IT Support Technician at Recruite Agency offers an interesting mix of web development duties, including both front-end and back-end tasks. With a salary of R45,371 per month, this part-time position is appealing but may not be ideal for those needing full-time hours.
Collaboration is central to this role, as the technician will work closely with product owners and UX designers to ensure high-quality web applications. Active participation in agile ceremonies can enhance team efficiency, but it also demands a commitment to regular meetings and feedback sessions.
Prospective candidates should be well-versed in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, as these skills are essential to meet the diverse needs of clients. While the role offers great exposure to various technologies, the part-time nature may limit long-term career progression compared to full-time positions in larger companies. According to the listing on Recruite Agency's site, the environment is fast-paced, which can be both challenging and rewarding.
Overall, this role is a solid option for developers seeking flexibility and variety in their work, but it might not suit those without sufficient experience or those looking for a stable, full-time career path.
