Role & responsibilities Job Purpose The Bank Security Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank's Security Program. Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 8 Areas Actionable (4-6) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Implementing and administering all segments of the institution's Security Program, including Physical, Environmental, Procedural and Electronic security. Providing continual consultation and written reports to the Chief Security officer (CSO) concerning security issues and incidents. Working with the CSO and department leaders, insuring that the institution's employees, customers, facilities, assets, records and proprietary information are protected. Conducting and managing initial and continuing reviews of best Security practices, background review and recommending security clearances. Maintaining appropriate intrusion devices, alarms and cameras that record activity in appropriate locations that warn of threats and are vulnerable to theft, riots, arson etc. Implementing physical security procedures, emergency evacuation plans and processes for all of the institution's locations across the region, plans for reducing or eliminating premises liability issues and site analysis and threat assessment documentation. Creating and retaining case management records for all investigations and Security Program operations. Administering and delivering security training programs, involving front office and visitor security, security guard force and organizing specialized training programs for Supervisors, Field officers and Security guards and field employees. Working with other department leaders, assisting with the continual development of loss control and anti-compromise measures to protect general assets and processes. Conducting regular and periodical surveys of all offices and departments to determine the need for additional security services, and making appropriate recommendations. Establishing and maintaining satisfactory liaison with law enforcement officers, Govt. and quasi govt. agencies at all levels in geographical areas where offices and branches are located, and maintaining files for each location regarding available resources and emergency services agencies available. Submitting a Security Program evaluation and compliance report for Sensitive location such as DATA Centers, Currency Chest etc. to the CSO at prescribed timelines. Conducting Security audit for currency chest in the region and submitting report with recommendation for additional security measures, standardization of procedures if required. Coordinating with all other Regional security officers and give consolidated reports to the CSO. Reports to Functionally and Administratively to CSO with a dotted line reporting to Regional Admin Head Essential Duties Monitoring the Deployment of Security personnel across the region in Branch and OATM. Attending to Security & Safety related complaints by the Branch staff. Maintaining Branch and Hub wise MIS of deployment per state along with business share of Security agencies. Prepare wage structure ( Central and State) and recommend the same to CSO for implementation. Monitor and resolve all complaints related to CCTV, Panic alarms and related Electronic Equipments including DG sets. Analyze the quality of service provided by the Electronic security vendors and provide appropriate recommendation for renewal of AMC. Evaluate and recommend new service providers for Security and Facilitators while monitoring the existing agencies Conduct audit of Currency chest, Data Center and Critical location on half yearly basis and submit report to the CSO. Monitor the Incident Management system portal and categorizes Incidents with action taken reports. Maintain a location wise Fire drill calendar, Ensure Evacuation and Fire drill conducted is conducted at every Hub location twice a year with a gap of six months. Submit the report to CSO. Coordinate the Maintenance and Refill of Fire extinguisher/ Fire equipments in Branches and Hub locations Prepare Deployment Approval form and submit to CSO for further approvals. Maintain MIS of all Branches and Hubs in Western Region along with monthly billing details Secondary Duties Evaluate the quality of Service provided by existing Service providers on a half yearly basis and submit report to the CSO. Ensure compliance of Statutory labour requirements such as PF, ESIC, Arms license. Etc. by the Service providers Maintain a MIS of location wise
