Our client, a prominent player in the Hospitality & Tourism sector, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across their properties. This role, based in **Nelspruit, Mpumalanga**, is critical for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong relationships within the region. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, leading a team of sales professionals, and ensuring targets are met and exceeded. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the hospitality market, proven sales leadership experience, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. You will work closely with hotel management, marketing teams, and corporate stakeholders to achieve overarching business objectives. This is an on-site position requiring regular travel within the designated region to foster client relationships and oversee property performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospitality and tourism sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and corporate accounts. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new market segments. Oversee the development and execution of promotional campaigns and sales initiatives. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales collateral and presentations. Ensure consistent brand messaging and service standards across all sales activities. Manage budgets and control sales expenses effectively. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality or tourism industry, with at least 3 years in a sales management role. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. In-depth knowledge of the regional hospitality market and key players. Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools. Ability to travel extensively within the region. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
