The role involves picking stock according to pick lists, packing items securely for dispatch, operating basic warehouse equipment, and helping to keep the facility clean and orderly. A positive attitude and willingness to work hard are what count most.ResponsibilitiesLabel products and packages correctly with batch numbers, dates, and other required information as per standard operating procedures.Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or product defects to the supervisor or team leader immediately.Assist skilled workers such as mechanics, electricians, or builders by fetching tools, holding materials, and providing general support.Follow all health and safety rules including wearing the required personal protective equipment at all times.Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sweeping floors, removing waste, and storing tools and equipment properly.RequirementsReliability and punctuality are essential as team operations depend on every member being present and on time.A Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificate is preferred though not always essential depending on the specific role.The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately.Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as operational demands require.Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual work including lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.A strong work ethic and willingness to work hard, with a positive attitude even when tasks are repetitive or physically demanding.A clear criminal record may be required depending on the nature of the workplace and client requirements.QualificationsCertificate in General Education and Training
