Introduction An established company in the steel industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee warehouse inventory operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock control, efficient warehouse operations, and compliance with operational and safety procedures within a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manage receiving, stock capturing, and inventory accuracy Verify delivery documentation and identify discrepancies Oversee returns, claims, and damaged stock processes Ensure dispatch accuracy and correct loading procedures Conduct cycle counts and assist with stock takes Maintain accurate stock placement and warehouse organization Handle customer queries and administrative documentation Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and operational procedures Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent problem-solving ability High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements Matric with Mathematics Minimum 3 years’ relevant warehouse experience within the steel industry Health & Safety experience will be advantageous Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills Ability to work under pressure and multitask Strong sense of urgency and accountability Package & Remuneration Salary: R300 000 – R360 000 per annum
