Job Title: Security Guard Job Location: Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan Job Type: Part-Time Pay Rate: $27 per hour Shifts: 0600-1800, 1800-0600 Monday-Sunday Overview : Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan location. Requirement: Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.Experience with report writing and note-taking.Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.Valid Saskatchewan security guard training certificate or willing to obtain.The company will provide the security guard training if needed.Must be eligible to work in Canada over 30 hours per week.First Aid and CPRMust be at least 25 years old.High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or equivalent work experienceMust be available to work on-call shifts.Must have access to a reliable vehicle.Must be able to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.Must be a permanent resident or Canadian Citizen.Must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 full Driver’s License Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions : Access control for the facility/areaPresent a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all timesEnsure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site EmergenciesUndertake site-specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or ManagerDemonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidentsMeticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skillsOperate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site-required trainingVehicle Gate and Console dutiesBenefits: Opportunities for career growth and advancement.Comprehensive health and dental benefitsPaid training and development programs.Disclaimer: As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
