You will dispatch drivers to assignments using fleet software, monitor driver progress, handle customer enquiries about delivery status, and re-route drivers as needed to meet service commitments. A calm and methodical problem-solving approach is essential.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process all import and export documentation including customs declarations, bills of entry, and shipping instructions.Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and customers to coordinate smooth flow of goods across the supply chain.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, delivery shortfalls, damaged goods, and returns, implementing corrective actions.Supervise warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift drivers, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.Ensure all logistics operations comply with health and safety regulations including safe operation of material handling equipment.RequirementsA valid driver's licence is essential; own transport may be required for roles involving site visits or shift work.Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, transport management systems, or ERP systems such as SAP.A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, transport management, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.QualificationsDiploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
