Clare Distribution Services was established in 1997 and specialise in the distribution of temperature-controlled products delivering nationwide. We are currently recruiting for a number of Van Delivery Drivers for a new and exciting venture in partnership with a leading Irish blue-chip Company. The chosen candidates will get to work with an award-winning Transport Company with an excellent reputation in the industry. CDS is an FTA, BRC Gold Standard and ISO accredited Company. In addition, we hold awards such as Employer of the Year and Transport Company of the Year in the Irish Logistics and Transport Awards. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, customer focused and hardworking van drivers to join our team based in Galway. The Opportunity The teams will operate extended hours across 7 days a week and drivers will be required to operate a flexible working pattern - you must be available to work both shifts on a rotating weekly pattern · Loading, transporting and making deliveries to homes and customers in a safe and timely manner · Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles · Providing first class customer service, answering questions and handling customer complaints · Adhering to assigned routes and following timed schedules · Abiding by Rules of the Road and maintaining a safe driving record · Following all Health and Safety practices as advised by CDS · Completing vehicle walk around checks and reporting defects or damage daily · Be an ambassador for Clare Distribution Services and its partners · Maintain a professional attitude and appearance What We Need · Full clean B Licence · Minimum 2 years’ experience as a multi drop delivery driver · Minimum 2 years customer service experience · Strong time management · Excellent customer service skills · Attention to detail · Reliable and trustworthy What We Offer · Enjoy driving new vehicles that are well maintained · Additional annual leave linked to service · Career development and training opportunities CDS is an equal opportunities employer INDDUB Pay: €17.00 per hour Application question(s) Are you available to work any 5 days over 7 covering Mon - Sun on an AM/PM shift rotation during the hours of 7am - 10.30pm?
