Job summary We are building and strengthening our core engineering team and seeking a Frontend Developer to take ownership of the platform’s UI layer and elevate the overall user experience, and to also refine and scale the user interface across dashboards, analytics tools, and mobile application experiences. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Platform UI Ownership: Take ownership of the full frontend layer across web dashboards and mobile app interfaces. Refine and enhance the existing UI to improve clarity, usability, and performance. Ensure consistent visual standards across the platform. Collaborate with backend and product teams to align interface functionality with system capabilities. Analytics & Dashboard Development: Build and optimise interactive dashboards for enterprise clients. Translate complex datasets into intuitive visual displays. Develop drill-down views, filters, and reporting tools. Ensure dashboards are responsive, fast, and executive-ready. Mobile App UI: Improve and maintain UI components for the FieldWorkz mobile application. Ensure smooth interaction flows for field data collectors and users. Optimise mobile responsiveness and performance. Maintain design consistency between web and mobile environments. Data Visualisation: Integrate and optimize visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or similar. Build dynamic charts and interactive elements. Support real-time or near real-time data updates where required. Ensure visualisation clarity for both technical and non-technical users. UX & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with Product to refine workflows and improve usability. Incorporate user feedback into UI improvements. Reduce friction across login, reporting, and data navigation flows. Ensure accessibility and clean interface standards. Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in frontend development. Strong proficiency in React or a similar modern framework. Experience building analytics dashboards or SaaS platforms. Experience working on mobile-responsive or hybrid app interfaces. Strong CSS and UI design discipline. Experience integrating APIs into frontend applications. Familiarity with UX best practices and performance optimisation techniques. KPIs (First 12 Months): Complete UI audit and improvement plan within first 60 days. Refined and optimised dashboard interface deployed within 120 days. Improved page load speed by at least 30% from baseline. Mobile app UI performance optimised with reduced user friction and bug reports. Zero critical frontend failures in production. Positive usability feedback from first enterprise and field users. Consistent and documented design system implemented across the platform.
