We are a U.S.-based CPA firm looking for a reliable, long-term remote bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience, including QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online. This position is intended to start on a part-time basis at approximately 20 hours per week. The salary range shown is the full-time monthly equivalent. Initial compensation will be paid pro rata based on the agreed schedule. As the firms workload grows and the working relationship develops, there may be an opportunity to increase the role toward full-time, with compensation adjusted accordingly. Main responsibilities include: Working with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online files Recording and classifying bank, credit card, and general ledger transactions Performing bank and credit card reconciliations Reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable activity Posting journal entries and accountant adjustments as directed Preparing monthly or periodic profit and loss statements and balance sheets Cleaning up and organizing QuickBooks files Preparing bookkeeping workpapers and Excel schedules Communicating clearly regarding missing information, questions, and file issues Maintaining confidentiality and professional handling of client financial information This is a fully remote position. The candidate must have reliable internet access, a suitable computer setup, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly in written English. About this role
