Amiable Security Services Inc. is currently hiring Event Security Guards for part-time, casual, and temporary positions. This role is ideal for individuals who are professional, reliable, and enjoy working in dynamic environments such as concerts, festivals, private events, and corporate functions. As an Event Security Guard, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence. Key Responsibilities Provide a visible and professional security presence at events Monitor access points and control entry/exit of attendees Verify tickets, passes, and credentials as required Conduct crowd control and manage large gatherings safely Patrol event areas to identify and respond to security concerns Handle incidents, disturbances, or emergencies calmly and professionally Assist guests with directions and general inquiries Coordinate with event staff, supervisors, and emergency services when needed Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications & Requirements Valid Security Guard License (Alberta and/or Saskatchewan as applicable) First Aid/CPR certification (preferred or required) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Professional appearance and attitude Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous event security experience is an asset but not required Employment Type Part-Time Casual / On-Call Temporary (Event-Based Shifts) Compensation Competitive hourly pay (based on experience and role) Opportunities for ongoing and future event assignments Why Join Amiable Security Services Inc.
