A leading private hospital group is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (ICU) for their facility in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring clinical excellence. Responsibilities Infection Control & Safety Compliance Strictly adhere to infection prevention and control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as part of the resuscitation team. Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery across all shifts. Patient Care & Clinical Practice Accurately monitor, record, and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data, reporting changes to the medical team. Provide comprehensive and professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the SANC scope of practice. Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans. Medication & Treatment Administration Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision, monitoring patients for side effects and effectiveness. Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and confidential. Requirements Valid SANC registration as a Registered Nurse Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing protocols Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Compassionate and patient-centered approach Experience in specialized units (ICU, Trauma, etc.) is a plus Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Active SANC Registration.
