ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for candidates based in Barberton and Randfontein to join the YES Programme. The role involves supporting site operations, maintaining safety standards, and performing technical sampling and testing tasks under supervision. MAIN DUTIES The candidate will be responsible for technical support and site maintenance duties, including: Site Maintenance: Responsible for cleaning up the site / workshop after task is completed or at the end of the day which comes first, making sure it's free of all consumables used.Safety and Quality: To adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system and orally report any deviations, irregularities and non-conformances.Technical Tasks: Perform all field and laboratory work including sampling, calculations and performing test methods accurately.General Operations: Perform any other reasonable task assigned by the authorized supervisor or manager and ensure discipline within the assigned department.Additional Information Candidates must be willing to relocate to Barberton or Randfontein. Application Response: If you do not receive any response in 2 weeks consider your application unsuccessful.REQUIREMENTS To be eligible for this programme, candidates must meet the following requirements: Education: Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science; proficiency in English.Eligibility Criteria: South African citizen (valid ID) between the ages of 18-33, currently unemployed, with no prior YES Program experience and no criminal record.Technical Skills: Exceptional Computer Literacy (MS Office suite), an affinity for data analysis, and strong research skills.Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, exceptional organizational skills, and a high level of initiative.
