## Solar Laborer/Operator Position If you're hardworking with a positive attitude and interested in learning a trade in solar construction, we want to hear from you. MOSS was rated as the #1 Solar Contractor in the country for 2024, and we're hiring team members to perform construction tasks on utility-scale solar projects across multiple sites. The field project is located at 177 Hollingsworth Rd, Hollandale, Mississippi 38748. This position involves working outside in all types of weather conditions—you'll be standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy materials regularly. Pay starts at $20 per hour, and this role offers genuine growth opportunities with a long-term career path and advancement potential. ### What You'll Do You'll learn all aspects of how to be successful and safe on solar projects. Your day-to-day work will include operating hand tools such as tape measures, wrenches, hammers, drills, rivet guns, shovels, grinders, and rakes. You'll provide various general labor duties on solar project sites, and you may also perform work as a Millwright, Solar PV Installer, or Quality Control Representative depending on project needs. Extended hours are common, with single shifts sometimes lasting as long as 12 hours. You should be prepared for overtime and work on weekends and holidays as required. ### What We're Looking For You must genuinely enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather. Physical capability is essential—you need to be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials while adhering to all safety standards. You'll need reliable transportation to and from the project site and the ability to operate equipment such as dozers, excavators, and skid steers as an operator.
