Job Description Job Description **WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A VARIABLE HOUR POSITION, 20-40 HOURS PER WEEK** Houseworks Construction Company has been doing residential remodels in the greater Seattle area for over 30 years. Many of our craftsman and subcontractors have been with us for decades and many of our customers come back for multiple projects. We emphasize respect and value diversity, honesty, and professionalism. We are currently hiring for our laborer. This job entails driving our dump box truck (Isuzu cabover, no CDL required) to and from our office in Maltby to the job sites. You will be assisting on jobs as well as delivering materials to and from job sites and making dump runs. This is an entry level position with no experience required but this is a driver and laborer position. There is opportunity to advance and learn new skills. **At this current time, you may be driving the Isuzu or may be driving your personal vehicle to and from job sites** Schedule: Variable hours per week, totaling 20-40 hours dependent on job needs. Monday-Friday, flexible schedule between 8am-5pm. Starting wage: $20-$22 an hour DOE Location: Office is in Maltby, Job locations are typically in the greater Seattle area (Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds, Kenmore, Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, and Mercer Island). MUST be able to commute to Maltby with reliable transportation. Job description & requirements: - Must be over 18 years old - Able to lift up to 75 pounds and bend, squat, twist, crawl, climb, and work above your head. - Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation - Must pass background and driving record check - Professionalism and respectfulness - Own basic tools is a plus - Responsible for picking up and delivering materials to and from job sites - Demolition, assist with various installations, physical labor (loading/unloading, digging, lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.), and help on jobs with needs that arise - Responsible for maintaining work truck, company tools, and company inventory - Punctual and great time management skills
