Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their logistics and warehousing facility in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, ZA . The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of all warehouse activities, including inventory control, receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, operational efficiency, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow from receiving to dispatch. Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment. Manage the receiving and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency. Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems (WMS). Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure seamless logistics. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage budgets and control operational expenses within allocated limits. Qualifications: Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A relevant degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
