Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard - Rover/Flex Officer, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, assets, and personnel. We are looking for security professionals with flexible availability. You will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to incidents, all while maintaining a professional and approachable presence. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity and ensure operational security Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication Manage access control points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and tact Perform safety checks including first aid assessments and CPR if necessary, ensuring immediate response to injuries or health issues Document all incidents, observations, and security activities accurately in reports for record-keeping Requirements Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and loss prevention strategies Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness and professionalism Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
