SECURITY OFFICERS NEEDED AT MANCHESTER AIRPORT STARTING IN MAY. Permanent work offered. Day , night and weekend shifts available 3K paid bonus after 3 months of working with us. Lots of overtime Shifts available to choose from : Monday to Friday , Tuesday to Saturday or just weekend work 8 am till 5 pm 8 am till 8 pm 8 pm till 6 am or 10 pm till 8 am WEEKLY PAY You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £19.50 hour Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour We pay weekly every Friday. 45-60 hours per week guaranteed. Key Responsibilities:Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel. Essential Skills and Qualities:Observational Skills: Ability to notice potential threats or suspicious behaviour.Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with others.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.Conflict Resolution: Ability to de-escalate tense situations and find peaceful solutions.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and basic computer applications.Physical Fitness: Ability to patrol, stand for extended periods, and potentially handle physical situations.Professionalism: Maintaining a calm, courteous, and reassuring presence.
