Introduction A reputable company within the construction and civil engineering sector is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Engineer / Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Specialist to join their team. Construction / Civil Engineering / Roads & Infrastructure Duties & Responsibilities Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related qualification Experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Knowledge of SANS, TMH1 & material testing procedures Experience with soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate & density testing Laboratory and site quality control experience Ability to compile reports and interpret test results Strong understanding of QA/QC and compliance requirements Valid driver’s license advantageous Desired Experience & Qualification Conduct material testing and inspections Ensure compliance with project specifications and SANS standards Monitor site quality and laboratory processes Compile technical reports and test results Liaise with contractors, consultants, and site teams Maintain quality assurance standards on projects
