Job Summary: We are seeking vigilant and professional Security Officers to join our team in Glasgow. Location Queen’s Park Food Festival Glasgow G42 9QL Information The even is a food festival with a family atmosphere. It will consist of Food Traders, Market Traders, Live Music, Chef Demonstrations, Live Entertainment ect. Dates The dates consist of 3rd to the 7th June 2026 Aim Our aim is to provide a safe environment for all our attendees and to facilitate the smooth running of event. The positions will primarily involves day and night shifts, offering a high level flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular patrols of the parameter day and night Door security during opening hours for attendees including trade and non essential trade entrances Monitor site activity and report any suspicious behaviour Control access and ensure site security procedures are followed Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies Provide first aid when required Maintain accurate incident reports and records Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations Qualifications: Valid SIA Licence (required) Previous experience in security or a similar role preferred Knowledge of site security procedures and incident response First aid certification or willingness to undertake training Strong observational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance Able to work independently and as part of a team No CCTV duties required Pay: £13.00 per hour Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person
