Description Our client in the transport industry, based in Perseverance, Port Elizabeth, is looking to employ a Salary and Wages Administrator (Mornings Only) to join their team. This is a half day job from 08:00am -13:00pm. Requirements: Minimum 8 years payroll experience – Transport and Citrus. Proven experience with monthly payroll cycles. Knowledge with the following: Microsoft Excel – very important. Astrow Web - advantage. Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional. Sage Pastel Partner – VIP. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Processing timesheets, overtime, leave and deductions. Strong understanding of PAYE, UIF and NBCRFLI. High Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies. Submitting statutory returns. Meet strict payroll deadlines. Managing employee records and HR documentation. Ensuring compliance with labour legislation. Someone reliable, consistent and detail-focused. Data Accuracy and record keeping. A person who can take ownership and work independently. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information.
