About Us The Area Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing security operations within the assigned area, ensuring service delivery in line with contractual requirements, PSIRA regulations, and company policies, while achieving financial and operational targets. Duties & Responsibilities Manage the financial performance of the area, including labour costs, overtime, leave, contract contribution, and overheads Ensure accurate monthly reporting, income statement verification, and PRP sign-offs Lead and manage security personnel, including supervisors and officers, ensuring compliance with PSIRA and labour legislation Oversee rosters, time & attendance, absenteeism, and staff deployment Maintain high service delivery standards, conducting regular client meetings, audits, and resolving queries Ensure security operations comply with site specifications, SLAs, and PSIRA standards Identify and pursue business development and growth opportunities within the area Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and SHEQ requirements Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, including SAPS and regulatory bodies Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and people management capability Sound understanding of security operations, PSIRA and labour legislation Financial awareness (labour control, overtime, cost management) Excellent client relationship and service delivery skills Ability to plan, organise and manage multiple sites Effective communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills Results-driven, customer-focused and able to work under pressure Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent PSIRA Grade A (essential) Valid driver’s licence Minimum 3 years’ experience in security management Post-matric qualification (advantageous)
