Position Summary ​We are seeking highly disciplined, professional, and fully qualified Grade A Security Officers to join our team as National Key Point (NKP) Supervisors. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations at high-profile, high-security installations, ensuring absolute compliance with National Key Point legislation, and managing a dedicated shift of security personnel. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications ​To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following non-negotiable Qualifications: ​Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience specifically as a National Key Point (NKP) Supervisor. ​NKP Certification: Valid, certified National Key Point Certificate. ​PSIRA Registration: Valid and active Grade A PSIRA registration. ​Firearm Competency: Valid business purposes firearm training and competency for both Handgun and Shotgun. ​Education: Matric (Grade 12) Certificate. ​Licence: Valid, unexpired Driver’s Licence. ​Background: Clean criminal record (comprehensive background checks will be conducted). Key Responsibilities ​Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of security personnel on-site at a designated National Key Point. ​Maintain strict access control and perimeter security protocols in accordance with the National Key Point Act. ​Ensure rapid and tactically sound responses to security breaches, emergencies, or alarms. ​Conduct regular parades, shift handovers, and physical inspections of security equipment and weaponry. ​ Maintain accurate incident logs, operational registers, and compile detailed reports for management. ​Liaise directly with client representatives and law enforcement agencies when required. Core Competencies ​Exceptional leadership, commanding presence, and team management skills. ​High level of tactical awareness and emergency response capability. ​Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. ​Ability to work under high pressure and maintain strict emotional control. ​Strong analytical and problem-solving skills regarding site vulnerabilities.
