Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:30 AM - 03:30 PMSun11:30 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.Monitor access to the location by observing visitor, resident, and staff movement, assisting with check-in processes as directed, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited behavior.Support a respectful environment by assisting with de-escalation during resident and/or visitor interactions, following post orders, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
