Troubleshoot solar PV systems, hybrid inverter systems, lithium battery storage solutions, monitoring platforms, and operational faults. Assist with system installation, commissioning, configuration, inverter setup, battery integration, and after-sales support. Remote Monitoring & Field Support Monitor installed systems through company platforms and analyse alarms, performance data, and system logs. Conduct on-site diagnostics, commissioning support, troubleshooting, breakdown call-outs, and site meetings when required. Travel frequently across regions, including overnight stays and possible cross-border technical support. Warranty, Reporting & Documentation Receive, evaluate, prepare, and submit warranty claims for solar and energy storage equipment. Compile technical reports, warranty evaluations, commissioning reports, troubleshooting records, and monthly departmental reports. Create and maintain installation guidelines, troubleshooting procedures, technical bulletins, commissioning checklists, product reference files, and support documentation. Training & Technical Administration Deliver technical training to installers, EPC partners, distributors, system integrators, and internal/external sales teams. Assist with training material, technical presentations, certification support programmes, and technical evaluations for quotations. Voer ter plaatse diagnostiek, ingebruiknemingsondersteuning, foutopsporing, uitval-oproepe en terreinvergaderings uit wanneer nodig. Help met opleidingsmateriaal, tegniese aanbiedings, sertifiseringsondersteuningsprogramme en tegniese evaluasies vir kwotasies. Minimum Requirements / Minimum Vereistes Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in after-sales technical support functions. Minimum 3 years’ experience within solar, battery storage, or renewable energy industries. Strong technical knowledge of: Solar PV systems Hybrid inverter systems Lithium-based battery storage systems Electrical protection and grid integration Monitoring and remote diagnostics platforms Modbus, RS485, and Ethernet communication protocols Electrical schematics and single-line diagrams Strong remote troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to compile technical reports, procedures, and training material. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
