Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacy Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring the smooth running of daily activities. Prior experience in pharmacy or healthcare is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive pharmacy experience Assist customers in selecting over-the-counter medicines and health products Support pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with medication sales and stock organisation Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Provide basic advice on common health concerns and direct customers to appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary Support inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards regarding patient information at all times Requirements Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential Knowledge of medication administration and patient care principles is advantageous Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also demonstrating initiative Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a busy environment A genuine interest in healthcare and customer service excellence This role offers an engaging environment where you can contribute to patient well-being while developing your professional skills within the pharmacy sector.
