Job Description: We are currently recruiting Enhanced Security Screening Officers for a site in Basingstoke (Hampshire). The role involves conducting security screening and access control using metal detection equipment to maintain a safe and secure environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct security screening using metal detection archways and handheld wands Control and monitor access to secure areas Carry out security checks in line with site procedures Maintain professional standards at all times Report incidents and complete required documentation Requirements: Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or Security Guard Licence Enhanced DBS (preferred or willing to obtain) Good communication and observation skills Ability to work as part of a professional security team Additional Information: Two officers required per shift (one male and one female) Experience using metal detection equipment is desirable Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract Pay: £13.50 per hour Benefits: Company pension Ability to commute/relocate: Basingstoke, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): Only Female Security Officer required Experience: Security: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: SIA Door Supervisor Licence (required) Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person
