A position for a full-time sales assistant in our outdoor leisure department has become available within our busy, family run garden centre Responsible for working within our outdoor leisure department selling outdoor furniture, BBQ's and leisure products. Sales Assistant Job Duties: · Working within our outdoor leisure department selling outdoor furniture, BBQ's and leisure products. · Greet all our customers in an articulate, approachable and friendly manor to maintain our high standards of customer care. · Communicate your knowledge clearly to customers with varying levels of experience. · Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. · Complete sales correctly and efficiently ensuring customers leave the store fully satisfied. · Be self-motivated, positive and organized. · Be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic to learn. Sales Assistant Skills and Qualifications: · Commitment to high standards of customer service, identifying a customers needs and recommending products to suit. · Ability to work on own initiative and be self-driven to complete all tasks. · Experience within a customer facing role, dealing with queries, specifying products etc · Experience working with leisure products within a garden centre environment. · Experience working within a sales orientated role in a retail environment. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday and every other weekend. Job Type: Full-time Pay: £20,800.00-£26,875.20 per year Benefits Company pension Employee discount On-site parking Experience: Direct sales: 1 year (required) Retail sales: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
