Entry‑Level Construction Apprentice - (Paid Training Program) Saxonburg, PA – Greater Pittsburgh Region Begin your career in heavy civil construction with Brayman Construction Corporation. Our apprenticeship training program is designed for individuals looking to enter the construction industry and develop long‑term careers in the skilled trades and heavy highway construction. This role is an entry‑level opportunity that includes paid hands‑on training, practical experience, and a career pathway toward the skilled trades. What Our Apprenticeship Program Offers Hands‑on exposure to heavy civil construction operations Practical training that builds transferable skills Career guidance and development toward union opportunities and long‑term success in construction Ideal Candidates Have an interest in construction and want to build a career in the industry Are reliable, hardworking, and motivated to grow a long‑term career Value teamwork, accountability, and being a part of a high‑performance team No prior construction experience is needed; we look for a positive mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow What You’ll Gain Real‑world construction experience through paid on‑the‑job training Supportive mentorship, coaching, and structured development Skills and confidence to work safely, efficiently, and with quality craftsmanship Pay & Advancement Starting pay begins at $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for performance‑based wage increases every three months. Location 16056 Safety Sensitive Position This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. The position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as‑needed basis. The position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a federal contractor.
