Shipping, Export & Logistics Compliance Supervisor (Contract) Dayton, OH | 1-Year Contract | Day Shift Rate: $40.00 to $55.00/Hr. Role Summary This position serves as the process owner for shipping, receiving, export logistics, and documentation within a regulated electronics and manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for SAP shipping execution, SOP ownership, export documentation accuracy, inventory traceability, and compliance control for high‑value materials. This is a hands‑on systems and process role, not a floor lead position. The successful candidate will be expected to design, enforce, audit, and defend shipping and logistics procedures in a controlled environment. Core Responsibilities Shipping, Export & SAP Execution Own end‑to‑end outbound and inbound logistics processes, with emphasis on export shipments and high‑value materialsExecute and validate SAP shipping transactions, including:Delivery processingGoods issue confirmationInventory movement and reconciliationPrepare, review, and approve:Bills of LadingExport and customs documentationShipping labels and transaction recordsSchedule and manage export loading appointments and carrier coordinationTrack shipments, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues using documented corrective actionsSOP Ownership & Process Control Serve as primary owner of shipping, receiving, and export SOPsEnsure all logistics activities follow documented procedures and compliance requirementsMaintain full documentation traceability, audit readiness, and record retentionIdentify process gaps and proactively implement controls to prevent:Documentation errorsInventory inaccuraciesQuality or compliance escapesDevelop and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy, consistency, and audit outcomesInventory & Quality Assurance Oversee inventory accuracy for high‑value and controlled materialsManage cycle counts and discrepancy resolution using ERP dataEnsure consumable and logistical materials are available and controlledConduct logistics‑related quality checks and internal audits as requiredSupport quality, compliance, and regulatory reviews related to shipping and exportSafety & Compliance Leadership Safety is the top priority in all logistics and warehouse activitiesProactively identify, document, and correct safety or compliance deficienciesEnsure alignment with internal quality systems and external regulationsParticipate in or support internal and external audits as appropriateQualifications Required High school diploma or GED3–7 years of experience in:Shipping/logisticsManufacturing or regulated environmentsDirect SAP shipping transaction experience (not observational)Demonstrated experience owning SOPs and enforcing process complianceStrong documentation, analytical, and process‑control skillsHighly Preferred Export shipping and customs documentation experienceExperience with regulated or audit‑driven environmentsAbility to clearly explain SAP workflows, controls, and compliance checkpointsExperience preventing or correcting shipping‑related quality escapes Equal opportunity employer.
